DAY WRAP:

WEISS.PRESS

wrap.weiss.press | NIGHT WRAP, NOV 7Saturday, November 7, 2026 | ISSUED 9:30 PM ET | v1

The truck quit at midnight on Blackman Street. By 6:37 PM you had a plan you said yes to: Sam in Greeley rebuilds it, AAA tows it Tuesday, and you ride along. Nine working threads ran today and every one is filed. Sunday is light.

TODAY IN NUMBERS: 9 working threads, plus 7 older side chats closed as EOT this morning. 12 phone calls recorded, 7 Fireflies recordings, 51 Todoist changes. 125 overdue tasks found (the morning said 38). 1 big decision: the truck route.

HOT ITEMS, NEXT 72 HOURS

☐ Sun about 6 PM: the bird to the Martz bus in Wilkes-Barre by Uber, not the motorcycle. It is dark by 4:50 and about 48F at six. The Uber is a short fare. Check her bus time first. Task.

☐ Sun 10 AM: two price calls. MG Towing and Matt's Garage, Greeley, 570-949-4900 (one business). Lords Valley Towing, 570-775-7391. Only a rebuild price that beats Sam's reopens the route. MG. Lords Valley.

☐ Mon first thing: billing. The SSM invoice to Zach goes out (Jesse's invoice is in, so nothing blocks it; build it Sunday). The Gates invoice goes to Fr. Heasley. Build SSM. Send SSM. Fr. Heasley.

☐ Tue 9 AM: call AAA for the tow to Sam, Built to Last Transmissions, 154 Rt. 590, Greeley. Get the dispatcher to say "no charge" before you hang up. If they say per-mile or not covered, decline and fall back to Sun Nov 15 or a flatbed. Ride along, meet Sam, leave the deposit. Task.

THE TRUCK, WHERE IT STANDS

Last night: forward drive gone, reverse works, fluid present. Darrell (Ayers Towing) brought it home about 1 AM. You bought AAA during the breakdown, at 12:44 AM.

Today: you called Chey at 11:53 AM; he said he would estimate and has not called back (two voicemails, 4:19 and 4:21 PM). The CIO opened a new project for it, PROPERTY PLANT AND EQUIPMENT. The PPE chat ran the numbers on every route. At 5:30 PM the rebuild went to Sam: full rebuild, new converter, 3-year unlimited-mile warranty, four or five days in the shop. AAA was upgraded to Plus about 6:10 PM. At 6:37 PM you took Sam's plan: AAA tows it Tuesday. His shop address came in at 7:40 PM.

U-Haul: on the 4:48 PM call Wilkes-Barre had no toy hauler, and you asked them to cancel and email you. Look for that email; if it came, tick the task. Task.

Rich (5:07 PM call) will help with a ride for the pickup if he can. No tow name from him yet.

Chey: one call Monday 9 AM. No answer by noon closes it. Task.

Paperwork: the plan is a PA LLC that owns the Ram, with PA title, plates and insurance at the Nanticoke address. The filing kit is ready; the name is yours to pick. Tag agents Monday 9 AM, Leonard's first. Insurance quotes still to get. The money questions are with CFO BUDGET. Tag agent. Quotes.

Later: steering box, undercoating before snow, exhaust. Ask Sam while the truck is there.

WHAT ELSE GOT DONE TODAY

This thread: a full open redo at 10:51 AM, email complete through the 10:19 AM export. The morning listing failure belonged to the scheduled close only; normal chats list folders fine. All 125 overdue tasks are now on task.weiss.press and in one Todoist task, numbered, with each task's project. You answer by voice, by number. Close-out task.

Files by name, not ID: your rule from this morning is on record. DRIVE_INDEX, a sheet in the Depot, holds the first 43 addresses; the nightly fill is with the CIO. Task.

CIO: location history proven on the Dell at 12:28 PM. It read the Nov 7 Takeout and found the Nov 6 directions to EJ BBQ and Sushi. A fix for town names (Chelsea read as Weehawken) is in, not yet run.

CEO: a decision task for an ART project: the Colin rose window, the photo book, the SSM video. Nothing sent to Colin. Task.

Job Search: a dashboard was built in that chat. You pick its Google-side form when you like. The whole-system diagnostic tool went to the CIO.

Closed as EOT this morning: the Nov 6 open, the NYC trip sweep, Andrew Lohse, Chelsea galleries, the Nov 5 train chat, the walk to 241 W 14th, Manhattan Mini Storage.

Texts: the phone is backing up again. Newest text 6:28 PM.

THE WEEK AHEAD

SUN NOV 8 Nanticoke 56F, low 45F, 10 percent rain. The bird's bus. Two price calls. Build the SSM invoice. Email Colin (Hallow speaker, SSM idea). Call Saraca. BDNY at Javits is on Sunday and Monday; without the truck it means the bus, so skip it unless you want it.

MON NOV 9 52F, low 38F, 20 percent. Billing. Tag agents and Chey at 9. Meier Supply for the propane parts at 9 (fine on the motorcycle, dry). Victor Kim: nudge only if he has not set a time. Board review with the CEO. CFO reconciliation. Closing attorney about the sewer lien letter. Russ Ross.

TUE NOV 10 60F, low 37F, 20 percent. AAA tow to Sam at 9. The truck sits at Sam's four or five days.

WED NOV 11 59F, low 36F, 10 percent. New York 62F and dry. If you go into the city this week, this is the day.

THU NOV 12 47F, 60 percent rain. No motorcycle. Tom Wrubel only if he has not written. Call Zach.

FRI NOV 13 39F, 55 percent snow. Stay in. SAT NOV 14 40F, snow possible. The Ellenville open house and the haircut booking are the same day: pick one.

SUN NOV 15 AAA's day 8, the fallback if Tuesday's tow is refused.

AFTER: rental car Sun Nov 22 for the trip; away about Nov 22 to 30. Pick up the truck around Nov 30: Dave drives, or an Uber to Greeley. Pay the balance after a road test.

GETTING AROUND WITHOUT THE TRUCK

Local: the motorcycle for short runs Monday to Wednesday in daylight. Not Thursday to Saturday. Supermarket runs are fine in any weather you said you can handle.

New York: Uber to the Martz station in Wilkes-Barre, then the Martz bus. Nothing on the record needs you in the city this week. No rental before Nov 22.

Heat: oil, firewood and the electric blanket cover you. Propane waits for the parts.

☐ What time is the bird's bus Sunday?

☐ Did the U-Haul cancellation email come?

☐ Saturday Nov 14: Ellenville open house, or haircuts?

FOR THE CIO: the wrap and the day sheet should come off one press, in one format, at day.weiss.press. Handed over tonight. Task.
